What is a common one day menu for chinese?

i need to prepare a one day menu for my chinese patient, but i don't exactly know what is a typical chinese diet look like..What is a common one day menu for chinese?
For a sick chinese patient:

1) Breakfast - plain congee with salted egg or some pickles

2) Morning Tea time - flour pancakes with spring onion

3) Lunch - plain congee with steamed fish and stir fried vegetables

4) Afternoon tea - soft biscuits

5) Dinner - congee cooked with minced pork

Note of caution - Congee is easily digestible and patient might get hungry in short period of time. Do take into note the calorie count and ensure that enough protein is comsumed so as to aid recovery
Well, you could have white rice, some steam fish, stir-fried vegs, and some eggs, or chicken, or pork. What is a common one day menu for chinese?
cup - a - noodle w/ tea
it really depends on which part of China he / she comes from. but rice should be the staple carbohydrate, a clear broth / soup should accompany it, and the side dish should be steamed or stir fried with loads of vegetables with clear strips of meat - nothing lousy.
Did you say "patient" as in medically not well?

If so, stay away from fried and oily food altogether.

A mix vegetable consomme... or chicken/fish soup (with Chinese herbs)...

steam fish fillet or steam chicken white meat (without skin) with black mushrooms and herbs...

braised tofu with minced pork-chopped mushroom...

omellette with bitter gourd slices...

quick boil-stir fry vegetables with a little oyster sauce (use only drops of peanut oil to fry).

Do NOT put too much salt in your cooking, NO chillies, NO fried rice, serve plain boil white rice with the dishes.
How old is the patient???

Preparing Chinese congee should add some ginger and dried mandarin peel (long boiled rice + water + ginger slices + soaked mandarin peel).

You may also prepare some egg noodles or pasta for lunch or dinner with boiled vegetables and steamed fish.
