Why don't they sell brown rice at Chinese take out restaurants?

My husband didn' believe me that our local Chinese take-out places don't serve brown rice. He called and confirmed, they don't have it on the menu. But why?Why don't they sell brown rice at Chinese take out restaurants?

Most Chinese places just have white rice and fried rice, but PF Chang's has delicious brown rice, as well as both white and fried. If you have a favorite place, maybe you could ask the manager to include brown rice. It's much healthier for you, but it does take longer to cook.
well they say that in china the poor people eat brown rice and the rich people eat white rice i learned it in school
