How come my panasonic dvd player shows chinese dvd menu?

and my other dvd player shows english menu?



it is the same dvd "battle: los angeles". but when i put it in the panasonic dvd player, it shows chinese. the other dvd player shows english?



i think that somehow this dvd has some kind of code which detects what kind of language my dvd player uses? but my panasonic dvd player default language is english.How come my panasonic dvd player shows chinese dvd menu?
If it only does that for that particular disc but plays other discs OK you're probably stuck with it.

It it plays nasty tricks for other discs too then get into the menu, find 'set-up'.,regional options, and re-set the language to another English, for example UK English, USA English etc..

If that doesn't cure it you probably have a software glitch or a temporary hiccup in the player. If it does work, re-set again to the style of English you want.

If still no joy and the guarantee is still valid get a replacement player.
