Where in nyc can i find authentic chinese food?

It seems to me that every chinese restaurant I've been doesn't have real chinese food on the menu and it's all sort of fast food americanized chinese food like chicken and brocolli, general tsos, etc. Where can I go to eat REAL chinese food in the city???Where in nyc can i find authentic chinese food?

Joes Shanghai on pell street, it is sooo good! But make sure to go to the one on pell street, cause there is another one thats not as good. The only thing i think is weird is that they seat you at a big table with like 5 other people that you dont know. but it really is the best place and its really inexpensive :) I definately reccomend it :DWhere in nyc can i find authentic chinese food?
Eat in Chinatown at a hole in the wall called Wo Hop! It's delicious food!
