Sweet and sour chicken nutrition?

i am trying to be healthy bu really want sweet and sour chicken with fried rice from a chinese delivery place but wondering if it was fatening?? the chinese menu says no msg but i dont know what that means..how many calories is in it?|||Think about it. Sweet and sour (too much salt). "Fried Rice" Too much fat. No vegetables, no whole grains, no fruits, no good healthy oils.....The sodium is still too much. STAY AWAY. Make your own. Go buy your own sweet and sour sauce, cook your own steamed rice, cook "lean breast meat" and use olive/sesame oil. And stir fry your own. You will be WAAAAAY healthier, and it will taste better. Ever realize how "Takeout Chinese" leave you wanting more? It makes you feel heavy and have headaches too. Make your own! Trust me.|||The answer above is a great idea! (Although one thing... There technically is fruit in the dish- pineapple!) You can have a Chinese takeout sometime... Such as if your friend is having a party, but if it is up to you why not have a healthier version?

|||no msg is a good thing.

that's the stuff that enhances the taste and makes u addicted. (it's also not good for u, cuts down your life from wat i've heard) also, it depends on where u go to get your sweet and sour chicken too. so i can't give u an exact of how much calories it has but, u can go here to find out how much this recipe has in it:

that's probably a rough estimate of about 400 calories.

~good luck with making healthy choices! ^^
