Scottish food with Chinese influence?

i am currently organising an event for chinese people in scotland and i need menu suggestions, i am having traditional scottish food with a chinese influence such as haggis spring rolls! what else can i have ??? ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE THANK YOU X|||What a cool combination! I'm Chinese so I had fun thinking up of some ideas.

Scotch pie with sweet %26amp; sour pork (or chicken) filling.

Fish %26amp; deep fried noodles (instead of chips) You can get crispy noodles at an Asian grocery store or Chinese restaurants. Place the fish on top of the noodles.

Black pudding fried rice (black pudding is salty so it'll probably work well with fried rice)

Salmon broth with wantons (instead of potatoes)

Hope I was helpful!|||you can make some beef lo mein, shrimp fried rice those should be easy and popular. make a pot of hot and sour soup or egg flower soup to complete the meal.

And then the main course.., Har Lok with Dried Lat Chiu, Kai

Chou Keong Sii, Ku Lou Yuk. Steam Yim Hai and many more.. For dessert, you can opt for Suet Yi Longan or simply Yin Woh double-boiled with Ping Tong.

Good Luck and have fun. ))|||Deep Fried chicken balls..|||Some of the ideas are quite imaginative, I ama former chef and of Scottish heritage, most Asians in the UK eat almost the same food as the nationals, but the chinese food in both England and Scotland is much different than in the US.

You could make something with lamb, I make a nice Mongolian Lamb and with the haggis, I would not use it in a spring roll, try a hot pot or something called a sandpot, it is a cassarole you can use cabbage, mushrooms and bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and then add chunks of haggis.

Even a traditional fish and chips dinner can be topped with a sweet and sour pineapple sauce, and instead of the chips, rice noodles or fried rice.

Even for dessert and bland old blanc mange can be spruced up with a tin of mandarin orasnges, lychees and sliced almonds.|||boiled won tons (dumplings) or pan fried pot stickers.. you can stuff them with Scottish flavors.|||So, as I said before you or some other a.sshole got me a violation notice (and report me again, please do it, I always come back):

"How about: Neeps and Crabbies. Stovies and Snail slime Mince and monkey eyes. (Sorry, don't do serious answers)"

I expect best answer this time to make up for the slight against me!|||Spring rolls are usually filled with vegetables not meat, so I suggest you switch to steamed pork buns or boiled ravioli-like pork dumplings, with haggis standing in for the ground pork.

Chinese also like pickled daikon a sort of radish/turnip thing. Maybe you can substitute Scottish turnips.

Some similar idea with potatoes standin in for taro root.

I'm afraid I don't know enough Scottish cuisine.
