the chinese chicken skewer things!
Keep it Chinese!

Personally when I dine at a Chinese restaurant, it's not only for the food but also the rich culture behind it. I don't really like to see north american options on the menu...

There are plenty of dishes that could be toned down in flavor to make a more kid friendly option.

Noodles dishes are actually fun to eat! Sticky rice always fascinated me as a kid...

I think you could think of some awesome yet authentic chinese combination for kids, keeping in mind that underdeveloped taste buds prefer not to eat bitter greens, tangy sauces ect.

And don't forget to name them something that would sound cool to a kid
well every time I take my kids (ages 2-7) to a chinese restaurant they have there selected foods that they like usually it consists of:

egg rolls or spring rolls

fried rice (as long as the only veggies are carrots and peas)

crab puff (when it's filled with just crab and cream cheese no onions)

pot stickers or dumplings (at least the 2 year olds like those)

fried wontons

and the 7 year and 5 year olds both seem to like sweet and sour chicken as long as it's just the meat and the sauce only
