For two reasons, one is that they feel they don't need to do that, as well as being stingy. In this sense Chinese Restaurants have greater people's skill, as well as the desire to build up their business.
Personally I would never patronize chicken a fill, because of their arrogance, and homophobic policies.

well, i've seen chick-fil-a give out samples of the chicken bits but they have enough traffic where they don't need to try and woo people over. on top of that, they have a very simple menu. A lot of the time Chick-Fil-A doesn't need to give out samples to attract business. They're already good, so luring people in isn't a problem.
great friggen question. i guess you cant really hold a chicken sandwhich by a toothpick. or mabye chinese people are friendly
because they want you to be attracted to the store and buy their products
