Do most chinese vegetable dishes include tofu even if not specified?

I've had a few experiences where i've ordered a vegetable dish where it's not specified to come with tofu, but there is tofu in it. is that pretty much custom? if only with certain dishes, what kind of dishes would that be?



i'm just really craving chinese food and love the tofu stuff but none of the menu's i'm looking at have tofu listed on them.Do most chinese vegetable dishes include tofu even if not specified?
They probably used it as a garnish, like green onion or garlic, which is usually not listed. Just ask if it comes with tofu.



Fav tofu food: Deep fried tofu with spicy soy sauce...oh yeeeaaahhhh

No, you need to order it. If it's an ingredient in the dish, it's usually listed on the menu as an ingredient.
I have never ordered a veggie dish and got tofu in it. Just ask if they have any dishes with tofu.
