Themes for a restaurant or menu?

For art I have to create a menu with a cool theme and creative things, etc. etc.



For example, my friend is doing a chinese restaurant and her menu is a big yin and yang symbol that opens where yin and yang meet.



I need help!! I can't think of anything...Themes for a restaurant or menu?
You could look into a italian restruant theme and put up people crushing grapes or a few gondola boats gliding across the river under a bridge. the menu of course would be pasta with meatballs, pizza, chicken parm. The resturants could be reasonable at round $9 for a plate of spagetti and chix, parm and for a pizza $10 and with additional toppings add $1.00
I always thought it would be cute to have a historical themed restaurant. You could have each different heading as a different time period. (ex: Colonial time period, Liberty Salad.)

The shape of it could be big flag or like a map. Maybe even like the Constitution. Just some random ideas.Themes for a restaurant or menu?
well lets see , you could try something like the old happy days diner with a 1950s look , menu could look like this -- hula hoop heros , boogie burgers , hot rod chili , fonzy fries, Richie rice pudding %26amp; Joanies's all shook up Milk shakes, -- and use an old vinal album as your menu cover
