Chinese Lover, what should I get?

Okay so I'm having Chinese tonight and I thought I'd pop the question which is what should I get on the menu? I know noodles with the chicken are a must for my kids my husband likes spicy food and we all hate egg rolls. Any good ideas?! All answers are appreicated|||Usually on chinese menus they have a little symbol that says "hot" Usually the names almost says everything. Sesame is great but add more p%26amp;s when you get home.


Hope this helps!|||Not every Chinese restaurant has these, but they are awesome. They are called Singapore rice noodles. Thin rice noodles with pork, shrimp, and vegetables. Very good and very spicy!|||Get the Crackling Rice Soup

House Fried Rice|||If you are a regular of that restaurant, I'll will suggest you try to order the fellowing item, most of this will not item on the meun unless you go to China Town or can read Chinese.





Stinky tofu (臭豆腐), is a popular snack in East and Southeast Asia, particularly China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand where it is usually found at night markets or roadside stands, or as a side dish in lunch bars.





Goubuli baozi (狗不理包子), a meat-filled baozi variety from Tianjin; its name literally means, "Dogs don't pay attention to it."





Xiǎolóngbāo (literally "little basket bun"; also known as soup dumpling is a type of baozi (filled bun or bread-like item) from Eastern China, including Shanghai and Wuxi. These buns are traditionally steamed in bamboo baskets, hence the name





Crispy chicken is made by first boiling the body of a chicken until its flesh is tender, then roasting it for long periods of time or until the skin goes dry and crispy.





Chinese Steam Fish is another popular dinner item, usually is the freahest fish they can find it the market.|||I assume you've already eaten.... :)





But here are my thoughts:





Is it a restaurant where Chinese-Americans frequent? If so (and noone in the family has food allergies) get what they are eating, whether it is on the menu or not.





Szechuan shredded beef can be real good.





What don't you like about egg rolls? I'm wondering if pot stickers might be a good choice, or if you wouldn't like them for the same reason (they tend to have much more meat in the filling and if cooked properly aren't deep fried).|||General Tsao Chicken... your husband will love it, sweet and spicy


Glazed Walnut Shrimp


Some vegetable dish... broccoli and beef, maybe bok choy and mushroom.


White rice





Green tea icecream for desert.|||Wor Wonton soup. I have never recieved a bowl which was not enough to fill me up and I am a BIG eater. Has a little of everything.|||Try something new instead of the same old "a lot for a little cost" food.|||Sesame chicken.





You can never go wrong with sesame chicken.|||Chinese food is the best!!!!


You can't go wrong with Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken...


Wow, lots of chicken. Anyway, all kids will love these and same with adults!|||the funky chicken stuff with the funky sauce, oh that prolly don't help, the sweet and sour chicken is it called?? what about that chicken stuff that looks like its hairy? (oh wait, maybe that was a cat. . ) oh well, looks like I can't be of a help, just got two points though!! (Bwa-ahahahaa -- beware of the cat's revenge)|||Try Shanghai curry noodles for your husband, crispy duck, pea pod leaves stirfried in a little garlic, any kind of soup, spring rolls, scallion pancakes....the list is endless.
